We ordered for our granddaughter both the mattress and baby bed. Both items were shipped separately by Federal Express. Both were shipped to different locations but not the address shown on the shipper's paperwork on different days. My granddaughter searched and finally found both shipments at other homes and garages but not at the ordered shipment address.
Great product. I was worried because I was looking for a firm, memory form mattress for my 10 month old daughter who is too active and wasn't sure what kind of material this one is. It is firm. She is able to walk quickly around the crib on this without falling and hit herself to the rails. Don't waste your money buying the other cheaper, but plastic mattresses. I bought 2 of those and it is horrible even for me when I try to lie on it. Very uncomfortable. When my daughter sleep in them, she ended up lying next to the rails because the lack of firmness of the mattress pushed her to the side. When she walks on them, it looks like she is walking on the water bed that moving, which caused her to hit herself on the rails.
The instructions was to let the mattress stay out for 48 hour so it could inflate and fit the bed. I left it to air for almost two week and only the middle come undone but the Conners are still to be inflate. And you can't return the mattress in store since it's an online purchase. Avoid Graco Mattresses.
There's not really a whole lot that can be said about this. It comes deflated in a long box, then inflates after you rip the plastic off. It eventually becomes a nice, thick, soft memory foam style mattress. I can't comment on the durability yet but it does seem to be standing up to my son's constant bouncing so far. It is NOT waterproof (though it is fireproof), so you may want to couple this with some kind of waterproof protection. I anticipate it'll last about as long as a standard memory foam mattress, about 3 years.
This Graco Premium Foam Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress is a wonderful addition when welcoming your first baby or upgrading to a toddler bed. It came in a relatively small package for its size. I was very impressed that it fit. It has a fireproof cover with it also that is a must have when considering your small child. The fireproof cover was a little tricky to install though. Not tricky enough to not want to purchase it but tricky because it needs to be snug against the mattress. The Graco Premium Foam Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress is a comfy bed without coils, which is something I prefer. There are detailed instructions on how to use and care for the mattress and true to the instructions the mattress does basically "inflate" after 48 hours. My daughter absolutely loves her new mattress and always seems comfortable when taking her naps and laying down for te night. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.
