Graco - SafeSeat Step2 Toddler Car Seat, Stellar

We love this car seat. I bought this for my 1 year old son and he loves having the cup holder there fro his milk. Also the pillow and reclining feature are great because he goes right to sleep on long trips. I do want everyone to know that it is big, but he is so comfortable in it and it is really worth the space it takes up.

well this is a great car seat very nice but it is really big so make sure you have enough room for it and it doesnt mention but your kid has to be 1 or older to use this car seat my son fit all the requirements except that. so i had to go through the trouble of returning it bc he isnt 1 yet but i really liked it i wish he was 1 so we could have tested it out!

I really love this seat! I bought my first in Nov '07 and just bought a second for my other son. The things I love about it: the pattern on the fabric is unlike all the others, it reclines enough to allow comfortable sleeping and is really easy to use, the wings on the sides are really deep which keep their heads from slumping and provides great side impact protection, the cushioning is very thick and sturdy, the straps are easy to adjust, rethread and buckle, the seat sits up higher than most so my boys can see out the window easily, it wasn't very expensive and it's really easy to install and doesn't wiggle once it is. Not so great things: The padding in the wings is styrofoam which is easy to break and may not be long lasting. So far one piece has cracked due to people using it for support when climbing out of the car but it hasn't affected the seat at all because it still stays in place. This car seat is large and heavy which would make transferring it between cars harder. We have an Intrepid and have two of these seats in the back which only leaves about 2 feet between them. Even with one SafeSeat and another smaller car seat or infant seat there was limited room in between for a third person to sit comfortably. The pro's definitely outweight the cons for me and I am very satisfied with this seat.

This is a very nice carseat. However, it is huge! I would certainly recommend this product, however, please take into consideration the size. You must have a very nice size vehicle in order to use this seat. I have an SUV. When I turn around to see out the back window, the seat takes up about a third of my view and my child can be seen completely in the rear view mirror. I love this seat, however, for safety reason I must return it. I really hate to do so, but it's simply too large and it sits up too high.
