Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat, Betsy

I bought this for my new grand-daughter. My daughter in law has the base in her van. The carrier snaps in and out. I love that is so easy to use and the baby is snug and safe. Of course, the fact that it is pink and brown and very "girlie" doesn't hurt!

Not only is it fashionable with other matching accesories, it is a wonderful car seat with all the regulated requirements for safety. I am a first time mom and I received this as a shower gift and I must say, I would recommend this car seat to anyone.

I have a very tall baby, so I'm very sad to be retiring this car seat. Used it since we brought our little girl home from the hospital along with the Graco SnugRider Infant Car Seat Stroller Frame. Those two things together were so incredibly convenient. As for the issue some people have with the straps, I haven't used another seat to compare it to. However, it wasn't all that often that I had to adjust the straps. When I did, it was in the stroller and not a big deal to adjust. I could see how it might be a pain if you had to do this in the car, but I can't say I've ever waited until then to make sure she was secure in the seat. The installation of the base was easy, although you really need 2 people do it tight enough (I think this goes for most seats though.) I thought I'd need to get other bases for the grandparents, but the seat was SO easy to set up in their back seat without it, and still very secure. Although safety is the big issue, I can't leave out the fact that I've been complimented on this pattern many times. It's similar to the Cherry Blossom pattern, but at a more affordable price (at least when I got it.) As far as durability goes, I've used it for about 7 months now and there's not a scratch on it. I've washed the cover a couple times and it still pretty much looks new. Because of the great convenience with the stroller frame, I'd definitely recommend this car seat. However, they grow fast, so if you want something to last longer or prefer a bigger stroller, a convertible seat might be a better choice.

I would definitely recommend this cars eat to anyone expecting a little girl, the pattern is very cute, but not too much pink that it is overdone. My infant is not due until January so the ease of set-up or durability is not known. Many complaints were because of the rear set-up to tighten and loosen the straps. I find that the way they are set-up on this car seat it is still very easy to adjust the straps with little difficulty!

I have to say that being the first time I have shopped online with Walmart.com I was highly impressed. I picked up my order and didn't have to pay shipping fees and was completely satified. This will be my daughter's first baby and it was exactly what she wanted. Her and I put it together ourselves it was that easy. Since we were so impressed I have already made another order.
