Greaseless Bengay Cream, Non-Greasy Pain Relief, 2 oz

Still the best smelling pain-relieving cream on the market. It works like a charm soothing aches and pains in the muscles. Opens sinus to let your nasal passages breathe easier. The only thing I noticed is that it doesn't have a numbing agent. Still worth the price and the joy of remembering your Mother smoothing it on your congested chest when you were a kid. Backs and calves are also benefited by Bengay. I would definitely recommend this to friends and use it again and again.

I would highly recommend this product for someone with mild to moderate pain. I have severe pain in both knees. I will say it did help a little but not enough that I would go out and buy it. I received this tube free through the Sparks Review program. It has a fairly strong mint scent. It reminds me of spearmint gum, and it drives my cat crazy. It's a thick cream that doesn't take a lot to cover an area. I used Ben Gay years ago and it was all ways so greasy, this new formula is anywhere near as greasy. It takes a few minutes after application, but the cream will start to heat up and that is when you begin to feel some relief. It doesn't last long, maybe 20 to 30 minutes, which is one of the reasons I would recommend this product for more mild pain. Over all I would say it's a good product and I would recommend it for most people.

When I got this Bengay 2 review I really didn't have a need to use it. But then my knees started acting up and I thought well let's try the new Bengay. It is greaseless as it said and it only has a very light scent not the old overpowering scent. It's active ingredients are Menthol and methyl dalicylate. Problem is just like the Ben gaze before it after you use it one or two times it loses its potency.

Bengay Pain Relieving Cream is a product that has been around as long as I can remember. being around for so long I figured they had to be doing something right. the last time I tried this product was over 30 years ago. what brought this product to my attention was the word greaseless. they are right it is greaseless and that is a big positive. it is a thick cream that rubs in smoothly and it still has a very strong menthol smell to it. the problem with this product is it only lasts about 20 minutes and then you are in pain again. the packaging even states relief from minor arthritis, backache, muscle & joint pain. the product just does not work well enough for me.

I received this product as a member of the Sparkreviewer Program. I used it as directed, but it did not completely take care of the muscle pain that I suffer from. It is suppose to provide temporary relief, and that just did not happen for me. The product says that it is greaseless, but it did leave a sticky feel on my skin which I felt many hours later. My clothing would stick to it also which made my clothing uncomfortable to wear. I did not like that at all. I was constantly moving my clothing where the cream had been applied on my skin which made for a very uncomfortable and at times, embarrassing feeling. As far as the cream providing me temporary relief from my muscle pain, that just did not happen for me. However, the menthol aroma/smell from the cream was so wonderful that it made the restlessness that I get from my muscle pain seem less severe, and for that I am grateful. I am giving it a three star review because of that aroma . I would still recommend this product to my family and friends.
