Great Value Lactose Free 2% Reduced Fat Milk, Half Gallon, 64 fl oz

I got a text saying that my order was not able to be delivered. I have ordered from there at least 20 times and never had this problem. Couldn't get anyone on the phone and the automation said that iit should be delivered within 48 hours! 2 days! That is unacceptable! Went ahead and reschedule the order for later in the day when I needed certain items before then to make a meal. We'll see if it shows up this time.

I ordered 3 half gallons of GV Lactose free 2% milk. Apparently they had only 2 so they substituted 1% for the third one, which was fine. However both of the 2% are leaking and slightly damaged on the bottom causing them to leak. Must be why they were the last ones on the shelf as no one wanted leaking milk. When I go to my order on the website I am unable to select the 2 half gallons for a replacement or refund. They don't show up on the screen. I was charged for them so confused as to why they don't show.

This is a great option for what you're paying for. The creaminess and taste is comparable to Fairlife. Of course, it's not the same, but definitely comparable. If I don't feel like splurging and paying almost $6 for a half gallon of Fairlife, I'll buy this and it's well worth it. Only because Fairlife has 15g of protein and better nutritional value than this option with 8g of protein and lacks in a few vitamin areas.

Compared to my go-to A2 lactose-free cow milk, Great Value Lactose Free milk meets attributes, exceeds on price being a$1 cheaper and the Great Value carton is 64 oz and the A2 carton 59 oz. But, Great Value Lactose Free milk falls a bit short on taste, with an artificial sweetener taste that I don't care for, and don't find in A2 Milk. Otherwise Great Value Lactose Free milk is fine and does the job of being as comfortably digestible as A2 milk, defeating lactose intolerance.

I don't usually write reviews, but this GV Lactose Free 2% Reduced Fat Milk deserves a 5 one. I was surprised how deliciously good and wholesome it tasted. It is not too thick or watery-like. The flavor is balanced by a smooth velvety texture and creamy rich mouthfeel of the milk. It surpassed my expectations. I am happy to have finally found the one; not only is this lactose free milk good for me, but it is also of Great Value.
