Great Value Pure Granulated Sugar, 4 lb

Sugar is sugar and I didn't find any difference in taste between Great Value and the leading name brand. Where the problem lies, however, is the packaging. I don't think I have ever bought Great Value granulated sugar where the sugar wasn't coming out of the bottom of the bag. Sometimes I have had to apply packing tape to try to stop the loss of sugar.

Okay, this is meant to be a review of my experience today picking up my groceries, not any one product. I want to mention that the staff, today, were exceptionally great but the young man that loaded my groceries, Max, was the best. Very professional and polite. He's a credit to your company. My rotisserie chicken wasn't available but the staff were very timely and courteous about notifying me, they all deserve congrats. Max deserves a BIG congrats. On the down side you REALLY need better plastic bags. These things tear almost as easily as paper!

the sugar isgood-------but concerned about the pads you told me you would ship a week (or more) $24.00 dollars. I ordered them because I need them. THIS has spoiled my trust i n this business..lf you don't plan to ship like you promised, please refund the money. Ruth Stahl

Instead of receiving a refund, I should have had another delivery of the sugar. Now I'll be charged a delivery/tip to get it. I'm disabled and that makes things more complicated than it actually should be. And don't get me started on substitutions, I should be called and have another option available and asked if that's ok instead of just NOT GETTING ANYTHING at all. Grapes for example, why can't I just get red grapes if green grapes are out of stock? I'm still paying its weight amount…

I am always very, very happy with all my purchases from Walmart. I may not review each of the products individually, there's just so many things I purchase.Most of these are food products and all are very good. Others are clothing, handicap assistance products and somethings to help around my home. (i.e.) The safety poles that I use to guide me into the perfect parking for my Mom
