It is big enough for them to make a mess on, but super easy to clean with a simple soapy rinse or by throwing it in the dishwasher. It's a really great large size, but it doesn't suction down and can be picked up and flung off the table. Once your baby realizes that, you may decide (as I did) that it is a better fit for an older toddler who is passed that throwing stage. Overall is a great product that really helps cutting down time spent on meal time cleaning!

I like how the tray has curves to keep things from sliding off on to the ground or table. I also love that there weren't any bad ingredients in the Platemat. I would certainly recommend this to others.

He doesn't like using a plate so this is perfect for him so we don't have to put the food directly on the table. There is a little lip around the edges so food does not roll off on to the floor. The placement is very easy to clean. We usually wipe it down in between meals and then wash in the sink at the end of each day and leave to air dry. The color is cute too! We don't go out to eat often but it's also easy to throw in the diaper bag and use while eating out as well. Overall we really love this product!

He's at the age where he wants to feed himself (and try everything!) so this large ‘plate' is perfect for him! It's easy to clean and rolls up easily to take with us to restaurants. It makes mealtime so much less stressful! It gives me peace of mind knowing that he's eating from a clean surface that's also free from harmful chemicals. Best of all? There's no huge mess to tackle as it's all contained within the mat! Get this! You won't regret it!!
