Greenworks 25062 No Gas Contact Free 18 Inch Reel Lawn Mower with Grass Catcher

I have had my mower for 7 years and only have oiled but never sharpened the blades. I never put it under cover either and it had been exposed to the elements that while. This year is the first to give me problems but are of my own doing. The handle broke after using it 2 years without the correct hardware to hold the handle together. I also ran it into a hidden stump and bent the front in a bit and it still works but just squeaky when using it. I have 1/2 acre I cut with this beautiful, elegant and whisper quiet machine of which you provide the power. It is as easy to push as one with an engine but the slight resistance encountered slicing your grass to a laser flat level gives a gentle but potent workout. I dont even know the miles I have logged behind my mower but it's over a thousand for sure and I'm heartbroken that the handle has given out even tho the rest works well. I will make note that this company stands behind its product for 2 years and mine lasted almost 4 times longer while being abused. I do not recommend leaving it outside and running into stumps by any means. I am not paid by this company in any way nor have I ever written a review for a tool but this is one that never runs outta gas even though I have and it is eco friendly safe enough that a 5 year old can help do it although I'm sure the manufacturer would disagree bigtime. Thats proof I'm not on the take. No gas oil or spark plug on this. Won't throw your back out trying to start it. It makes something I always enjoy doing just a delight.

I just bought these 18' manual reel mower from walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Greenworks-5-Blade-18-Reel-Mower/19582340 . The unit was delivered today Sept 20 2016 and I assembled it according to instructions. I then tried using it , for a while it works fine until the blade suddenly stopped rotating when I pushed it . It seems something is getting caught inside the wheel. I checked and there is No obstruction in the blade itself. I had to turn , kick and tap the wheel then it will start rotating and will randomly stop again which is a hassle. I have no intention of returning the product but I think the unit I received is defective and I want it replaced. I submitted a ticket to Customer Service.

I like the idea that there is no need to worry about running out of gas. My grandson gets good exercise

don't waste your money...came from the factory unsharpened...didn't cut, just chopped...didn't want to return and wait forever...ordered a sharpening kit...just as useless...would have been easier to cut the grass with scissors...don't buy
