I had an old barn I needed to get on the ground so I could remove the metal roof and burn. I used the strap to tie on to weak areas of the barn and pulled with my tractor. It did fine at this task although it was starting to get ragged towards the end. I was probably much harder on it than what it was designed to do. Overall I give it a good rating at least for this particular task.
It's summer now, can't use it till winter, I'm sure it will be fine. I have another one in another vehicle, they work well. Unlike a chain you can tug on these a little without breaking it. I've used the other one many times, you will be satisfied with it.
This was an especially good purchase for me because I got it on sale and was also able to use a discount coupon for extra savings. These are always useful to have around. I have more than 1. I have used them for a number of tasks besides pulling out a stuck vehicle.
I was tired of dragging 30-0 chain through mud and snow to drag stuck equipment out. A couple "D" rings and two of these and you can keep the tow vehicle up on dry land and still get a stuck vehicle out, easily and without draggin half the turf away. Light to carry or stow. Use "D" rings to connect so that the loops don't tie up in a knot. Note, dry them out after using in wet conditions. But excellent straps. Long and Strong and easy and safe to use.
I bought all 17 that they had in stock... What a great item to give my employees in my construction business. How many time have we all went to a job site and found someone stuck or been stuck ourselves. Much lighter and easier to grab than a chain. Not to mention wraping and pulling down a branch or a multitude of other uses. Thanks NT
