I have recently experienced a significant amount of hair loss this year, resulting in a diagnosis of AGA. This has been a distressing experience for me, as my hair has always been one of my best features. It has been surprising to lose such a large amount of hair at only 38 years old. I just recently receive this device. It is too early for me to assess if it really works to regrow hair. I've been using this for a little over a month and so far it's great. At first the tightness of the band was VERY painful on my head, but I have a lot of head/neck pain anyway so I just suffered through it and the pain has actually decreased a lot with regular use. The lights all work and it holds a charge well. Most importantly, I seem to have tons of new hair growing and it's not immediately falling out like it was before. I am also taking Nutrifol (for the past two months) so I'm not sure if the positive changes are primarily due to one or the other, or if it's synergistic. I suspect I need both of them for the results I'm having. I've also been using a diy topical treatment occasionally of castor oil with rosemary essential oil. My scalp is itching less and my “hair” isn't hurting like it was before. It's really a miracle, this has been such an ordeal for me with nothing wrong on my blood work and no obvious reason “why” this was all happening. When I started treatment my hair wasn't falling out anymore it just wasn't really growing back, and what little grew back would fall out after it got to an inch or so. I'm overcome with joy that I have so many baby hairs that just keep getting longer. I have been so stressed about my hair loss for the past four years, I'm so relieved to feel some hope.
