This is by far the best halo game to date. From the awesome graphics to the campaign storyline. Simply epic.

Got this for the kids and they were sad to finish it within a few hours. Not really worth $60 for such a limited amount of play. I would recommend you wait until you can get it in the bargain bin for $20. The graphics are good, but there were a few spots they got stuck.

The game overall is terrific. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a $50 Walmart gift card, so my bias here is that I only paid $16 for the game, but my review as a gamer stands. The campaign is somewhat short. That is about the only set back. A friend and I beat the entire campaign in a couple hours in one night on the second hardest difficulty (Heroic). It is a good campaign that more or less compiles various things you loved from the previous 4 games (I'm including Reach) and makes it into a beautiful run through with new enemies--And no Flood! It is certainly challenging and does not skimp on plot for action. However, the campaign alone doesn't justify the listed price. If you do not have X-box gold edition, you would probably be better of renting the game. The multiplayer is where the game far exceed the costs. I have heard many people complain about how it's too much like CoD, but I really don't see anything wrong with taking something as fantastic as Halo's multiplayer and blending it with another ground-breaking multiplayer game. The core function of the game is still the Halo we know and love--only now it adds a more personalized touch to it by creating customizable classes as well as new forms of team combat. The replay value is extraordinary and the gamer now feels much more accomplished while pursuing their online experience through a more developed profile development. The adaptation of new guns, abilities, power ups, and even a new vehicle or two allows for both a of nostalgia and novelty. Overall, it's a must-have for anyone who enjoyed ANY of the 4 previous Halos and enjoys the xbox live experience.
