Hard Candy Metallic Mousse Velvet Matte Lip Tin, 1196 Queen of Hearts, .23 oz

I love these metallic lip colors. They are inexpensive. They come in their own tins, which is pretty cool, all lipstick should come in their own tins! They last pretty long, I usually reapply often only because I want the colors to be extra bold and vibrant, which they have no problem being on their own. They smell great too! I love both shades I own.

I like this lipstick in the color truffle which is why I gave it 5 stars. The smoke and mirrors was a little too dark and a little too purple for my taste so I returned it. That's the chance I took when ordering on line. This is not super metallic and it's not long wearing if that's what you're looking for. It transfers to coffee cup and comes off with food as well. It has good color pigments so I have mixed feelings about this product overall.

The tin is cool, and since these were on clearance for $3 I thought I'd give it a try, bought 3 different onces, especially since it says "long wear" on it, and I like to use the 12-24 hour lipsticks. This color was a little too strong for me, as I like mauves usually. The lighter pinkish one is more mauve. I didn't expect it to be as good as the 12 hour lipsticks, but it is better than I expected. It doesn't dry ALL the way, so some comes off on the coffee cup, that sort of thing, but it's also nowhere NEARLY as temporary as "regular" lipstick. A lot of it stays on your lips. Not a huge fan of the applicator, bc it's more difficult to get a good line, but it stands up to several hours, probably very strongly for 6 hours. I like the metalic sheen as well, it's nice, kind of shimmery. Overall a quality product, and a nice tin. I hate having nothing but garbage left over when I'm done with makeup, so this is a nice extra. On sale, definitely worth the price.

I tried this around a month ago,it was a spurr of the moment purchase because I thought it looked cool. But it was extremely splotchy and hard to even out,so I ended up giving it away. I got the color Queen of hearts,which looked so gorgeous in the tube. It just disappointed me. I'd give it a 3/10 for the color and because it wasn't uncomfortable.

I didn't really like this lipstick as it really isn't permanent, it fades very fast and is prone to smudging. Also, the texture of this liquid lipstick is a bit odd and uncomfortable on the lips (probably because of the metallic aspect of it). Wouldn't recommend.
