Even though my tent's mattress is self-inflating, this Hart pump is great for getting that extra little bit of air in for added firmness. You don't want to blow into the mattress as any germs from your mouth can hide and thrive inside the foam. The pump is also useful for deflating the mattress without the annoying and often frustrating process of rolling it up with all your weight on it.

Have had this inflator for a little while now and I really love it. I've used it quite a bit for blowing dust/dirt around the shop and grill. I also use it a lot to inflate/deflate my kids backyard toys and kiddie pools. I used to use an air compressor for this, but this tool is 100 times better for this task. It's handheld, light, and much faster at inflating low pressure things like beach toys and balloons. The only negative I can think of are that the tool gets pretty hot fairly quickly, but even then it has yet to stop working. It also doesn't seem as powerful as the Kobalt version which is not much more expensive. However, thanks the Hart comes with onboard storage for the smaller adapter which is really nice, something the Kobalt does not have.

Hart has really came out with some great tools. I like this inflator/deflator tool. Rechargeable batteries have come such a long way, that I don't use corded tools anymore. Battery tools are just as strong as corded tools most of the time. I use my new inflator tool to blow up my twin mattress when I go camping. It takes no time to get it filled with air with this tool. After my camping trip. I use it to blow out the back of my van from all the dirt and debris. This tool blows a high-volume of air, so if the debris has any weight to it. You will have to get the tool very close to move the debris. I have found this tools also comes in handy for keeping my workbench cleaned of from all the saw dust and anything else that has accumulated. The battery last a long time. This is a great tool to have around the house and on the go. It has a place to connect a lanyard or a carabiner to hook on to you to keep your hands free in between uses. The tools comes with two nozzles. One wide and one narrow. The tool is very light weight. It feel kind of cheap, but is well built. This tool is used everyday. I don't see how I got along without it. I am sure putting it to the test.

This is a great powerful Inflator/Deflator! Cut our set up and take down time in half! Using an easy rechargeable 20v battery and just taking this on the go is so helpful when camping! I use to have to plug it into the car and try to inflate the mattress next to the car to take to the tent. Now just filling it up and deflating it right in the tent with ease! The tool is straight forward and easy to understand. The tool does not come with the 20V battery which I knew but sometimes you may not notice which is why I mention it. This tool has great power and I inflate my queen size mattress in about a minute! Easy grip and hold on the handle and so easy to use! I highly recommend it and know you will find it just as great as I do!
