This staple gun drove staples into OSB and Plywood deeper and more consistently than the Arrow T50 Heavy Duty stapler also sold at Walmart. I like that it has a metal body and lever - if feels strong. The lever is slightly easier to press than the Arrow's as well. I would recommend avoiding the Hyper Tough Heavy Duty Staples however. Neither the Hart nor the Arrow performed well with those. I used the Arrow branded staples instead. My store also had a single Hart 4-in-1 Staple Gun. You might want to consider that one. I didn't buy it because it was slightly more expensive, but the other two types of fasteners it drove were kind of interesting.
disappointed there is no directions and no starter staples. i assume folks are familiar with staplers are submitting more favorable reviews. yes im a neebie to this tool and need basic operating instructions. If you're looking to appeal to new comers you need directions as most tools do and it would be nice to start out a trial use with staples supplied..even a half rack.. i cant comment on function yet...because i cant work it and dont have staples.
The best thing about this stapler is the easy to use handle. It's also pretty light and not huge so it's easy to store. It does not seem to be cheaply made and I expect it to last for years to come. I will be using it often though so only time will tell. We have a more heavy duty one but the handle is very hard to squeeze and I needed one for use at home on easier projects I do myself. I like to do craft projects such as my last one where I reupholstered my chairs. My next idea is to build my own bird house and this stapler will be perfect for that. There is also an area in our living room where the carpet is coming up a bit and I plan to fix that easily with this new stapler. We need to replace some trim so the brad nails will work perfectly. So far I am very pleased and would definitely recommend this stapler to others.
This stapler does not come with staples. The information on the box was a little vague on which staples could or should be used. However, it was comfortable to hold in the hand, easy to load and easy to fire. The safety is easy enough to lock/unlock but not so easy it would be accidentally unlocked.
This staple gun is like the luxury of staple gun. Glad I got it. When compared to the standard one this one has a nice rubber grip to squeeze down on and that's a big deal with sweaty hands. It also have 2 level of stapling power. The lesser also requires about 40-50% less effort to pull the trigger. Great when I was reupholstering 6 chairs. No hand cramp. Next it has a lock function so no accidental use. The lock function also makes it easily retract the handle with no effort. Last the staple loader is much easier to load than the standard with a big plastic clip/locker. Ooh and it can shoot nails too.
