Hartz Large Bird Diet Balanced Nutrition, 4 lb

My cockatoo and amazon have been eating this for years. They like it. The peanuts are raw and my amazon eats em. My cockatoo likes the salt-free roasted which I buy separate. I put them in a separate bowl so the shells do not overcome the seed mix in their bowl. The moth problem of others I don't have anymore. Moths come from storage and have gotten them from other companies as well. I feed my birds a variety of foods. All of my bird food from different companies are put in the freezer. Millet, safflower seeds, peanuts, and this seed mix. It kills anything as well as moths. Nuts and seeds are freezable. This is a good variety mix and my birds prefer it.

i bought this food for my cockatoo. she started to eat but after stopped for a while and whole day did not touch any food anymore. My Daughter try to feed the parrot and finally touched her eye accidentally: and shocked ! HOT PEPPERS ARE IN THE FOOD !!! She did not see after for a while and started to cry. My bird did not eat just shivered all day / when i realized this bird food included hot peppers !! what kind of food is it? where is the sign about it is hot??? We had a hard day because i did not it is hot and did not know what to do with my daughter\'s eye - she had pain. Horrible experience !! never again! I am going back to the store and make a complain!!!

I ran out of the usual feed so I picked this up instead. Tossed it out in the backyard for the wild critters to clean up. Didn't look at all like the photo. (not surprised) Not much in the way of 'goodies' mostly filler and stuff they toss about. Smelled old when I opened the bag. Wasn't worth returning it. Hopefully not all bags are like that! No repeat buyer here.

I have been very disappointed with quality control due to finding bugs in 2 bags within the last year. The last bag only had 3 peanuts & 2 cookies in it but lots of corn which she will not eat

My ringneck has been fussy about eating this food since I've been buying this food, it's the first time I looked closer to see there were bugs crawling all through bag, I am not happy, and will not buy the food again. I feel bad for him that I was feeding this garbage to him, I hope he will be ok. Poor guy.
