Hartz UltraGuard Plus Flea & Tick Collar for Cats and Kittens, 7 Months Protection, 1ct

Does no good at all. I gave my cat a flea bath and cleaned her up well and after she dried, I put on this collar. One week later, she is full of fleas with fleas hiding under her collar. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

The scent goes away long before the 7 month period, only lasts about 4 months just would say, and is pretty faint after 3. My vet also mentioned that this collar doesn't usually work for the whole body, but more just around the torso area.

i bought this for my cat by her wait and 4 days later she passed away from poison. my brother inlaw just got it for his kitten and it also passed away

i read the reviews but was willing to give this a shot. i have 3 indoor cats but after working in the yard I ended up bringing fleas inside. cats got ate up. i ordered these even after seeing the other reviews. i regret it. almost instantly all 3 cats got sick. the smallest fell over with its tobgue hanging out and looked like it was having a seizure. i immediately took these off and placed them near their bedding. i figured that would at least help some. nope. they have done nothing and almost took out all 3 of my cats. danger. do not buy. don't be me. it isn't worth it. likely a quality control issue. too much chemicals on thenlm. find another brand

We have 5 cats and 1 dog. They had all started scratching as their old collars neared end date. I replaced with new ones - same brand/type they had been wearing. And guess what?? They are All scratching MORE than with the old of date collars. Our poor dog and all the cats are now totally miserable, scratching and scratching....and scratching. I've been using this brand off and on for more than 25years and am Most Disappointed!
