Hatchimals Pixies, Crystal Flyers Starlight Idol Magical Flying Pixie Toy with Lights, Kids Toys for Girls Ages 6 and up

I bought 2 of these for my granddaughters 8 and 10. It took them quite a few tries but they managed to get them flying under fairly good control. I would suggest that children with long hair should have it tied back so it cant get tangled in the wings. I think it should not be recommended for children under 6 or7.

This is the most disappointing toy!! My daughter LOVED it from the moment it's little wings lifted it into the air. However- it will break. It's inevitable. Once it bumps into a wall or light fixture mid flight enough times a wing will break off. And then- it's over. The tears. Oh the tears. And guess what- NO REPLACEMENT WINGS!!! Why?!?! Why would you make a toy designed for indoors knowing it will bump into something eventually and break without offering a few replacement wings?! My daughter loved it so much I even bought a second one after the first one broke. And within a day, the new one is broken too. And we used a wide open room without obstacles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little girl instantly fell in love with this toy. The packaging is sparkly and quite big so it definitely looks impressive. It's quite expensive for what it is but I'm not sure how long it's going to be played with for! Apparently it's very “cute and lovely” and very popular with her friends too. Age group of 5-6 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmm girlie toys aren't my thing....I have boys, but this was requested as a birthday present. The packaging is very nice and sturdy. It's a pixie, glittery doll that spins round and flies. It's charged with USB and that's probably the most annoying thing as kids hate waiting for things to charge!! The 6 yr old recipient was delighted and loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter face when she opened this up was a massive look of amazement, even before opening it the packaging looks magical and pretty. It did take her a couple of days to get used to maneuvering her and with only having a small living room it did become a bit of an issue of it bashing into people or objects in the room, however she took it outside in the end and quickly picked up how to do it as she has more room. The charge doesn't stay for very long, however that could be due to my daughter never putting her down. Happy daughter = happy mum so it's a big hit in our house.
