I have used one of these in the past to install a switch over a bathtub... Outstanding product makes switches without wires a reality. Simple and cost effective solution to a complex and posibly expensive problem...

I bought 3 of these with high expectations, hoping to use them for lamps scattered throughout my home. When I tried the first one, I found that it worked about 1 out of every 4 tries. I thought maybe I just got a defective one, so I tried the second. Same problem. Returned them yesterday. They are supposed to operate like standard light switches, which is unique compared to most comparable products which is what really drew them to me. They just don't operate well. The other disappointing feature is that they operate on a 9 volt battery, which makes them deeper than most wireless switches due to the battery thickness.

Excellent product, easy to install, reasonably priced

The value of this product was good but that's the only good thing. I installed it and ever since it will continue turning off and on at intervals unexpected. Not at all happy or satisfied with this item. I will be returning it soon! DO NOT BUY THIS IT DOES NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS.

This product is just great. It solves the dilemma of not having a light switch on a wall where you need it, and being able to put on a light that is on the far side of the room! A welcome convenience! I highly recommend. The price can't be beat and, of course, thanks to Walmart for the free shipping to store and excellent customer service. Love this item!
