Hefty Slider Storage Bags are excellent storage bags, the slider addition make the bag even better. The bags are very durable, hold up well when storing food in the fridge as well as the freezer. As shown in the picture I am including, the bag and it's slider holds up to holding the bag upside down without any leakage. I use storage bags all the time for storing leftovers, instead of plastic bowls with lids. They take up less room in the fridge and don't leak. They also work great for storing and freezing separated bulk meat purchases ie chicken breast, ground beef that you've made into patties. The baggies also have a large white strip on which you can write, the contents of the bag and the date they were placed into the bag. Especially great for items that you are freezing. Personally baggies are an item that I can't do without in my kitchen, Hefty Slider Bags get a resounding thumbs up from me!

This Hefty storage was durable and stood the test for leakage - the bag did not leak at the corners or at the top after the bag was zipped. But no problem with these bags I use them for leftovers and for separating larger packages of things They are great for mixing up your own trail mix for driving trips. I use them for separating my craft items so it is easier to see what I need and easy to get them It is very handy for making a first aid kit to carry in my purse There are so many things these can be used for to carry things to keep them clean and easy to get to I highly recommend these because they are so strong and easy to use

All self sealing bags should be like the Hefty Slider bags. Most "zip lock" bags are difficult to seal. You must go over them several for them to "lock", and then you are not sure you have a good seal. This is not the case with the HEFTY storage slider bags. The built in closing device insures you have a tight seal the first time, every time. Now a days many products come with seal type bags like potato chips. They all should use the Hefty slider bag. then you know you have a good seal.
