This iron flattens thick hair in a flash. The higher heat setting is a plus also the automatic shut-off. The color is nice. It does not snag or grab hear like others. I wish they made in a 2".

Heats up quickly. Really does work well on coarse hair and is easy to use.

ok, i bought this thinking it would work for my curly hair but it didnt. It got really hot and yes it did straighten my hair to a certain extend i had to pass it like 6 times before it got completely str8. That was upsetting my old iron only takes 2 passes and it's str8. The plus is that it made my hair shiny so it looked healthy even thought its not, but i'd rather get my money back and try another product. In my opinion, if you think it is going to work for you give it a try, everyone's hair is different so you can never know until you try =)

Okay so I was pretty excited to get this hair straightener but was kinda let down the first time i used it its by far not the one ill be keeping for a long time i will be getting a new one @ christmas but it will do for now if you take it and divide your hair into sections it does a good job but not if you just run it through your hair! i have VERY thin hair and got the coarse hair one thinking it would work better so if you have real thick hair DONT buy this straightener! if its thin like mine and you dont mind a little more time on your hair then it is a good one just not GREAT like im looking for! it does do the job dont get me wrong just not the one i want its good for the $
