Love my Herbal Essence conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When accepted into this campaign I was told I would have great smelling hair. That was the only thing I got from using these products. I have long hair that I like to style differently each day with braids, updos and leaving it down. These product dried my hair beyond belief where the only thing I could do was messy buns because everytime I brushed my hair free of knots I would move and it would become knotty again!

Only problem was is that I'm a girl and use so much conditioner thick curls that I went threw it so fast! Can't wait to buy another!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other Herbal Essences conditioners in the past. I always noticed a difference in the way each one made my hair feel, so I was excited to try one that I hadn't used before: Shine. This is something that I had never tried before because, based on my hair type, I wasn't sure if it was the right conditioner for me. My Irish genes have given me very frizzy, wavy/curly hair. My hair is the complete opposite of smooth, which is why I wanted to put this conditioner to the test. I wanted to see if it would really make my non-smooth hair SHINE! I will say that I went into it with the expectation that it wouldn't do much for my hair. Did my hair ever get that remarkable shine that you see on models for hair product commercials? Well...no. My hair still wasn't very shiny. It just would never work; my hair is too frizzy. However, despite the lack of luster, I noticed my hair did look a bit HEALTHIER after using this conditioner. My normally dry-looking hair seemed a little more nourished after using it. I also really think, that, given a more ideal "shiny" hair type (hair that is already relatively smooth, maybe?), this conditioner would probably make someone's hair look a lot shinier. I really tested this conditioner to its limits with my hair, and I think it could do an excellent job at what it advertises with the right hair type. Overall I gave it 4/5 stars because, no, my hair wasn't very shiny afterwards, but I did notice a positive difference in my hair. I will probably continue to purchase other conditioners that fit my hair type more properly, but would definitely recommend trying this if you're looking for potentially shinier, healthier-looking hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I barely have words on this. There was no shine, just a greasy mess ontop of my head. The only plus was the lack of fly aways, though the fact that they were slicked down from the greasyness was not a plus.
