Cheap and flimsy. Parts were ill fitting and it broke completly inside of 3 weeks.
Compared to its companions in the rec room, an elliptical and a recumbent bicycle, the stair stepper is small, and that is its charm. It takes up little room, is portable, it does the job well of providing the up and downstairs experience with some resistance. It has assist handles, and I wouldn't buy a stair stepper without them, for support in balancing.
Great value very smooth
The only thing bad about it ,is that it is much smaller than it showed when ordered.
Very easy to assemble and use.
