I mixed it with regular mashed potatoes, just as the instructions said to. I used Golden yellow potatoes just because that's what I had. Normally I'd use russets. I had pork chops with them. They went perfectly together. No need for gravy. It would also work as a great seasoning for diced fried potatoes. My only concern is the gmo ingredients. I try to stay away from anything modified and eat only organic.
I threw party for my kiddos bday and I prepared a snack for the adults with this dip amd they loved it. I made the mashed potatoes as usual , let it cool down and add this packet of seasoning and a block of cream cheese and I blended it. We spreader with crackers and taste delicious. I highly recommend this
My husband liked it and it did get eaten by majority but not to much more I feel I could have done less to get same effect as said by others too. I didn't really taste ranch plus with It having such a high sodium for me personally as my stomach is still struggling from last night from it. That's my personal take for someone too who has restrictions they have to watch for their diet to not use the whole pouch or use in limited amounts. I will try again though to make the sour cream ranch dip recipe another day when I pick up more so I can be able to make whenever and watch my intake of sodium. Glad I finally gave it a go because you never know it might be for you, hope to try the ranch taco version looks tasty.
I absolutely love the Dry Hidden Valley Ranch Recipe Mix Zesty Potato! It has a great Zesty taste that leaves you wanting more! These potatoes will go with so many different meals! I love all the different Hidden Valley recipe mixes! I would definitely recommend this product!
Instead of mashed potatoes I made baked potatoes. I added in Jack cheese, chives, sour cream, butter, chives and then sprinkled on this Hidden Valley Ranch, Zesty potato mix. WOW WOW WOW! The garlic deliciousness is fit for gods. So good! I definitely recommend this seasoning packet.
