We were amazed at how quickly this pump inflated the Airhead Transformer towable. We didn't time it, but it seemed to take just 1-2 minutes. Everyone was shocked. It worked just as well to completely deflate the towable. I hesitated in buying it, but am sure glad I did. Kept us from having to deal with an inflated towable on the boat while it was not in used. The only potential negative is having to connect it directly to the battery, but my husband installed the posts on the battery case so that it can be used without removing the case. That worked really well.

I purchased this ar pump to work with my 12.5 foot long inflatable boat. The regular battery operated off-the-shelf pumps do not have enough power to inflate a boat. I've tried a couple before and they just don't work. I always ended up pumping by hand. This model draws its power from a car battery. It's much powerful and gets the job done. It's pretty loud, but works just fine. I've just used it a couple times and so far no complaint. I saw past reviews that mention about poor quality. Time will tell. Pleased with my purchase for now.

This product will not last. My pump locked up after a few uses. You can see in the picture where the belt grinned into the plastic and the wrapped around motor. Poorly made..

I bought this asumming it also inflated tires in which in the description doesn't say it does or doesn't but it hocks up to a car battery so i thought it did recieved it and the box said nothing so we opend it and all the peices are plastic and reading the one peice of paper that came with it says in bold lettering not for use on car tires should say that before hand maybe on the site we returned it.

I am able to inflate my 9 ft pontoon in less than 3 minutes and not have to use hand pump.
