Holiday Time Animated Light-Up Doe Outdoor Christmas Décor, 40 in

I have both the buck and doe and they make a very handsome pair. I was a bit disappointed with the doe as she arrived with the arm that attaches to the motor broken so her head doesn't move. I could return or replace I suppose but I'm too lazy and she looks very nice with the buck whose head does move from side to side. Who will know? The lights go all around the body so they give a good outline and you can recognize what they both are when they are on the front lawn. It's Xmas in September around here. I need some joy right now as do we all. She was very easy to put together even if you don't use the instructions. You can tell which rod goes into which hole just by looking at it. Other than the broken piece it was nicely packed with no dented wires.

This was a little confusing when taking out of the box, the directions are pretty simple, just make sure you remove the black wire holding it together in the box. Its a little tricky putting it together and when you go to carry it outside it can easily come apart on you, but its very easy to snap back together. The doe's head moves up and down very slowly but it looks great once its all lit up. It only took about 10 minutes if that , to get her together and working and I think she will look great on the front lawn this year along with the buck and an angel we also have from this company. It comes with stakes to hold it into the ground which you really need since the deer's head moves, you don't want it tipping over. Im happy with this doe and can't wait to put her out this year for Christmas.

Make your yard come to life with this doe! Great way to bring some cheer to a dreary winter. The assembly directions were good; it just needs to be unfolded and then insert some parts and attach a couple of clips to hold it together. The yard stakes are not very tough; I bent one while sticking it into my hard lawn but it will still hold OK. The doe takes 20 seconds to go through her up and down head movement- pretty slow, but still fun to watch. I have only had this a couple of weeks so I don't know if it will rust. It requires a GFI outlet and is appropriate for seasonal use only- label says to unplug it at bedtime. I also have the buck- they seem to each need their own extension cord because even though the lights have an open outlet, the outlet is not polarized so the buck and doe cannot connect together. Extra parts (bulbs, fuses, clip) are included.

This Christmas decoration lighted and motion doe is a lot of fun. I had window shopped for a long time for one of these just could never bring myself to order one. It was a tad tricky to assemble, but worth the effort. I will enjoy this for man seasons to come.

Wow! Well I wasn't expecting this to be as large as it was, although to be honest I didn't measure out ahead of time. This was actually a very nice size standing at approximately 2 feet tall at its back and 40 inches long. When I opened the box and saw it, I was concerned that I was going to be in a holiday horror to equal the unraveling of multi strings of Christmas lights. The directions, upon first glance, in small type and not an easy set up direction in sight, only added to my concern. However, it actually took me about five to ten minutes to get it set up. The directions are not a huge help, but they are enough to let me know which steps I should take and in what order. Once I had this opened up and set up, I was thrilled at how amazing it looked. I plugged it in and it was absolutely beautiful. Of course, this type of decoration has been around for a while but for this is a great asking price with super convenience in purchasing it. I managed to unassemble and return this exactly as it was when I removed it from the box, making this even more of a great item. I did stick the directions and a couple of tabs that are used to support it in a zip bag and placed it inside the box until I pull it out for Christmas.
