Holmes Large Room Cool-Mist Humidifier

I have had experience with two of this model of humidifier, one at work and one in my home. The humidistat of the one at work never registers anything other than 21 % even though another humidistat in the room reads higher. The one at my home registers but fluctuates so much on the Automatic setting that the humidifier turns on and off constantly. The one at home also rattles so that I cannot stand to have it run while I am sleeping which is when I need it to run most. Very disappointed in this product.

This has been a saving grace in our home. It's large enough to cover 3 rooms. Once you get up to the desired humidity level, it's a quick adjustment to set it to run on automatic low, and it's so quiet as it cycles on and off to maintain the humidity you want. My sinuses are so thankful!

I purchased this for my Grandson, and am very happy with the Humidifier!! I purchased it online & had it sent directly to him in Ohio - his Mom tells me it works great and is nearly silent... For the first time in quite a while my beloved Grandson is waking up in the morning or from naps without a dry throat and without cracked & bleeding sinuses!

I was a little disappointed with how noisy this was. I am using at night in a smaller room, so maybe that has something to do with it. The fan is kind of noisy, but the fan causes the tank that holds the water to vibrate making it a lot louder. Other than that, it is nice that you can set the level of humidity, features are good.

i bought two of thesse at the same time and overall i am happy with them. The only drawbacks are that they are alittle noisey(from the fan)and they both have said that the filter needs to be changed since about the third day running. I don't plan on changing it until the season is over and they seem to be running fine.
