I want to grow my hair out & it seems everyone recommends castor oil. (For some reason coconut oil doesn't seem to do much for my hair). I used the castor oil for the first time yesterday. I put about a nickel-sized amount on my fingers, rubbed together, and massaged onto my scalp, then pulled what was left through the lengths of my hair. I left it in all night. (My hair is coarse, so absorbed most of it). Today after washing my hair it was super shiny & soft :) I'm hoping it helps it grow faster too!

We applied to affected areas and then exposed to infrared light, as directed by professionals! The castor oil seemed to enhance the good results of using the lamp. Was not overly sticky or greasy afterwards. Would recommend to others for this purpose.
