HoMedics Shiatsu Massage Pillow with Heat, SP-6HB-2

Not only does it work for me with my everyday mild aches and pains but over Thanksgiving I had family staying with me who suffer from sever chronic neck and back pain and two of them have already bought one for themselves! It is extremely versatile and can be used on any part of your body with ease because of its size and shape. The heat option is wonderful and definitely relieves tired, achy muscles, especially in my legs and feet! It really does give a deep tissue massage, that gets to those deep pains that most massagers miss. This products high quality construction, versatility and mobility make it a must have for All!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Shiatsu Massage Pillow almost 2 weeks ago and was so excited to use it. Upon opening the package I was immediately impressed with the quality and weight of the product. It is very nicely made with very high quality materials. The cover is very smooth and comfortable against bare skin. It's also easy to shift against to position yourself. The buttons for both power and heat are very well placed. I started by just using the massage (without heat) to get a feel for it. When I decided to add heat it was easy to reach without having to move or lose my position. The heat is very nice. It's perfectly warm enough to relax your muscles but not so hot that it'll hurt your skin or even feel uncomfortable. I was having a hard time finding a good position because the massaging mechanism was very, very powerful. I laid down on the floor with the pillow positioned behind my upper shoulder/neck area but as it massaged, it shifted my shoulders so much that it wouldn't stay in the same position. I decided to rotate the pillow so it was upside down and it was much better! I used the pillow for 30 minutes total and while I felt relaxed, immediately afterward I felt pretty sore. The massage was a little too deep and my skin was very tender. I've used this pillow several times over the last 2 weeks and while I'm still very impressed with the quality I just think it's too powerful for me personally. I think anyone who really enjoys a deep tissue massage would love this product more than I do. Pros: Great quality, user friendly, comfortable materials, very powerful, quiet motor. Cons: Maybe too powerful for some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My job is stressful, and I often have muscle aches. The HoMedics Shiatsu Massage Pillow does a fair job of relieving some of that muscle ache. It is versatile, and I've found that it works just as well for my neck and back as it does for my feet. The only downside is that it can be a little touchy trying to turn it off and on...finding that I have to push the buttons hard to turn it off. I also don't notice a very big difference in heated massaging versus non-heated massaging. The lights turn red, but the pillow doesn't get very warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started using this for my constant shoulder pain and tightness. This product gives me a slow deep massage with or without heat. It relaxes my muscles and relaxes the tension. I also can use it on my lower back and neck which is a great help.
