It's super quiet, and has 3 different setting of strong you want the mist to be. I can't speak on maintenance yet because I haven't gotten to that point. Pros- 1.) It's super quiet 2.) You can choose the direction of the mist 3.) The look is very appealing 4.) It can be used as a night light with different colors 5.) There are rubber strips at the bottom to keep it from sliding 6.) There are 3 options of how strong you choose the humidifier to be 7.) The water tank is a good size, not too small 8.) There is an option to add essential oils! Cons- 1.) It is very quiet. I do wish there was a small light to show where the on/off button was though. The on/off button is just a very light touch to use. I kept trying to push on it and it wouldn't work. I would have my husband come try it and it would work first thing. Finally I decided maybe it was just a lighter touch, and that worked. I do like the options for a night lite too in all the colors. Would be great for a kids room. Nice and small and doesn't take up much space. On Level 1, it hardly uses any water at all. Level 2, I had to fill it up for the next use. Have not tried Level 3 yet. I do like this product so far.
