Homz 28 Gallon Stackable Latching Plastic Storage Boxes, Blue and Clear, 6 Count

I received the Homz 112 Quart Plastic Storage Latching Container, Set of 6 for review. I am not great at visualizing dimensions, so this are bigger than I expected, especially in height. Not a bad thing. They seem fairly sturdy, but have some give. They stack well. Each box has a groove around the bottom that fits into a ring on top of the lids. It's more secure than the ones that just fit inside a recess in the top. Owing to the give of the sides, I do not think this tubs would be appropriate for stacking with heavy items. I mostly need to store yarn, fabric, and out-of-season clothes. This my first experience with this brand, but I have others that feel similar and have a cracked lid on a bottom box. I prefer clear bins so I can see what is inside them and where specific items are located inside. The handles close easily and are comfortable. The lid does not snap down on its own, so there isn't a tight fit. Not generally an issue, but I could see it being an issue if they are being stored in a damp area. Overall, I am pleased with this storage boxes. I expected them to last years.

These things are great... heavy duty and made so well! I love the fact that they're see-through. I was able to organize so much in just these 6 boxes. There's no better feeling than being organized and being able to find everything quickly. Love it!

My first set of Homz 112 quart latching totes arrived with one cracked and broken. The second set arrived with one or two small exterior plastic pieces broken off. Nothing that would affect its use or the covers from latching securely thankfully, but this offered me some idea of how fragile these totes were. First off, these totes are tall and long. They can hold a lot. I was organizing bedding this weekend and managed to pack around 7 or 8 large furry throws in each one and latch the tops without having to use force to get them to secure. However when I went to pick them up, the handles on each tote bent back like they were going to break if I carried them too far. The sides also bowed in and out more easily than I was comfortable with. I expected the plastic to be thicker and more rigid than this. Especially for totes of this size. I would never trust packing anything heavy like books in these. The irony was when I looked at the label, I discovered they are made right here in the good ol' US of A. How disappointing. The latching lids work well. No breaking your nails trying to pry the edge of a lid open and they stack easily as the photo shows. I'd recommend these totes to store lighter items such as clothing, linens, bedding and things you're not going to be moving around very much. Anything more, you may want to look elsewhere.

I am writing a review Homz 112 Qt. Plastic Storage Latching Tote, Clear/Blue (Set of 6). I have tried very many different storage totes. These are my favorite so far. I love that you can see what is inside. And the 112 qt. size is great for storing all kinds of things. But my favorite feature about these totes is the locking lids. It makes such a difference. I've used many without locking lids and they tend to pop off constantly when stacking or moving them. I highly recommend these totes to anyone looking for a convenient storage tote. Great product!

I needed to organize some clutter in a way that's easy to keep track of what's inside, but still keep it out of the way. These storage containers do the job well. The latching handles are easy to use. The design is simple and attractive, nothing fussy and matches any style. The size is very generous to hold many items or really big out of season items. The clear view makes it easy to see what's inside when trying to find what you're looking for. It's also nice that they stack perfectly well. Plus the fact that they all come in a pack of 6 storage boxes, make it easier to buy a bunch of these matching boxes all at once to organize a garage, basement, closets etc. One of the boxes came a bit broken by the handle, but it still can be used, just won't use it as a waterproof box. Found these to be very useful for my needs.
