HON 4 Drawers Vertical Lockable Filing Cabinet, Black

I bought two of these to replace some damaged in a recent move. While the quality of these file cabinets isn't what it was when I bought my first pair 20 years ago, it's acceptable. I like the low-profile locks - the old ones protruded from the file. Inspect the shipping container carefully for damage.

This file cabinet is perfect for what I was needing. And, no assembly required!! They delivered & even helped put it in the garage for me where I wanted it. Definitely would recommend.

I ordered 2 of these file cabinets for my office at work. They arrived within a couple days and in perfect condition. They were exactly as described and There is no way an improvement could be made to my experience with Hayneedle and this product.

We were so excited to be able to afford a HON at Hayneedle's great prices, but were so saddened to receive a damaged cabinet.... though we do not hold Hayneedle at fault. The outer box did not reveal it until opened, but the front and rear were dented, with the first drawer unable to be pulled open because of twisted metal. The cabinet was not usable. Hayneedle's customer service couldn't have been better when we called for a return. The biggest part of the problem, we believe, was the flimsy styrofoam corners used by the manufacturer. That was it! No other padding to protect the sides of this tall cabinet. It was obvious that the file cabinet was sturdy metal and well-made otherwise, so we hope that HON will wise up and protect the future shipment of their files in a better manner.

I ordered this cabinet on-line. The cabinet that arrived was not acceptable. The sides were dented in, the cabinet was not level, and the drawers would not close. Very disappointing. Will return and have to get a refund.
