I like the shape, size and weight. However, my pen/pencil keeps rolling off. A deep groove to place it in would be great, or some other kind of catcher. Otherwise, a good purchase.

Ordered a black lap desk but got a white one, other than that it was what I wanted. The picture above is what it looked like other than the one I got had the handle on the top, not on the side, and it is black. I wanted the handle on the top so that was OK. Just the color was wrong. Quality and size is good.

large enough and is pretty solid. I was passing by with a big block of styrofoam before this and it was a pain in the butt. Glad I got this desk instead. holds well against keyboard / laptops with rubber pads on the bottom, you can angle it at about 20-30 degrees and it won't slid at all Tough luck for anything that doesn't have rubber, for example don't put a bottle of water on the surface because the slightest tilt will send it flying off to the other side of the earth has been using it everyday (10 days now) since purchase. just wish it had a curvature to hold pen or something but I guess I didn't think it through when purchasing. still it's pretty good for what it is and i'll continue to use it

I broke my leg 2 weeks ago and am stuck in a chair for 4 more weeks. This 'desk' is not only good for laptop use, but I'm writing my Christmas cards on it as well. Due to the cast my knees are uneven in height and the padding compensates for this very nicely. I anticipate I will use this even after I am up and around. Great value.
