How did I go this long without trying this flavor? The fruit smoothie is my favorite blend, but these are right behind them. Absolutely delicious taste, good consistency, they don't have a tendency to stick to your teeth like some competitor's products do, and the carbohydrate quantity is welcome when training hard. I must be half cyclist and half humming bird because I am addicted to sugar and this is my favorite kind! They taste so good in the middle of a long hard ride, they are not messy, and the ingredients don't scare me like most candy. I like to take them before I lose my mojo but if I forget and bonk a pack of these will bring me back fast.

Caffeinated Limeade Energy Chews are now my go-to for working out and racing. Gels are also good, but these are so convenient to pop one at a time as I progress through and event, that the Gu and other gels I used to reach for don't get as much attention.

I use these and the Performance Energy Chews interchangeably for my cycling workouts. If my workout is in the morning, I use the Performance, if in the afternoon/evening - these chews. The difference is the caffeine. I typically eat them at the bottom of a long climb or during my warm-up before I go through harder intervals. I love them both and they are staples for my daily workouts!
