engine is too weak and probably that's why they call it quiet, unfortunately mine is defected and it keeps whistling all time turning right and left very noisy
This fan is different than any fan I have owned. Extremely quiet, and the wind from it is more like an outside breeze that can be super low up to a more strong wind blowing, but very pleasant. I love it! The remote design is pretty cool too.
Purchased a different Honeywell stand fan previously. Liked it, but a bit noisy. This model is much quieter, and still moves the air well. Neat feature: 5-speed selection provides for varying noise/sound levels for "mood" effects. Truly easy to assemble, especially after watching assembly video online before purchasing. A great value, and Walmart delivered PRONTO! Was a little confused whether Walmart would deliver to my local store for pick-up, or to my front porch. Less than 24 hours to find out. Impressive all around!
I am 100% dislike because fan speed very low. I want to return this item but by mistake after fitting this fan, I have garbage the outer box(carton). Have any way to return this item without outer box
