Honeywell High Velocity Turbo Floor Fan

If your looking for a fan that will make, "White Noise", then this is the fan for you. This fan is very very loud, which is the way we like it. Great product from a good company.

I have a couple of vornado fans and I think they are better but this was cheaper and is a fair value for the price. I agree with most reveiwers about the noise. You wouldn't want this fan next to you in the living room when you are watching TV. However, when air is moved by a fan there will be noise. More air moving more noise. That is just a fact. I don't think the noise is excessive for the volume of air moved by this fan on high. So if you want to primarily move a good amount of air and noise isn't all that important I would recommend this fan.

I could not find this fan in any of the Walmart stores. Luckily they were available online! :-) I bought these fans to deliver cold breeze in my room, and hence not use the AC anymore during Summer. Most importantly, I bought this fan for its white noise to mask the ugly and invasive sounds made by my rude upstairs neighbor who keeps her TV on till 4AM in the morning. And it works great! Super cold breeze and super white noise. Walmart amazingly delivered the fans to my home in just 48 hours. I just went for the regular shipping, paid $5 more. It was worth it :-) Thanq Honeywell for putting me to sleep whenever I want to. Thanq Walmart for shipping the fan in record time.

Just one thing: off/on switch and fan settings is in a difficult location (on the back of fan) and is quite hard to adjust. Someone older or handicapped may have a problem but other than that it meets my expectations in quality and value. I do recommend this fan to any one who needs to cool down, cause it will freeze you out by midnight!

This fan is just what I was looking for. It is small enough to fit in a tight space yet large enough to do the job. It is very light weight and I think totally plastic. I think it was a bit pricey considering the construction, but I also think I will have it for years. It also has a child-proof control switch.
