Honeywell - HPA100 HEPA Air Purifier, Medium Room (155 sq. ft) - Black

It's doing a good job so far. I was perplexed at first because I could not find a instruction manual anywhere - even tho the box says instructions included. Apparently there are instructions included on each filter and a little card that is on top of the unit, stuck in a vent. Not too impressed with that, but that's because I am old school and like a manual. The instructions provided are simple enough. It's great that there is a dimmer for the lights.

I took it out the box and set it up and it worked within minutes. Cleaned the air perfectly. I bought it back in March and I bought replacement filters and now it seems like it's not at its best. I had to hold down the button for the filter button. I'm glad I bought the insurance.

I appreciate the silent operation at low speed, and even at high speed, the noise level is very low. I also like that the output air stream is vertical when leaving the unit so that it never is blowing air on anyone nearby, many other brands do not do this.

These work great. I used to use the ion machines without filters until I read they produce ozone and do not destroy the bad stuff, just put it down on your carpet for a while. So these with the filters are far superior and I can even notice the fresh smell of air compared to not being so with the others. Highly recommend. But don't buy refill filters from Walmart - I suggest from Amazon of a different brand as I've read reviews of these are not as good as the filters than come with the machines.

Perfect size for a bedroom - we have a larger model in our family room and were very pleased with it. This model also uses the same HEPA filter (one) vs the larger model (three).
