Honeywell HZ-2204-U - Heater - mobile - 1500 W - white

I bought this heater several months ago when we began having cold weather to warm up a drafty room with hard wood floors. It's a small room where we have our computer, so I thought it would be sufficient. I sat it at my feet under the desk and it did keep my feet warm and even got hot, but it did not warm the room. Now when you turn it on high it cuts off after about 1 min. but you can run it on a lower setting. Basically I thought it would warm the computer room, but it did keep my feet warm, especially with a blanket over my legs.

Initially, this product worked well, heating a small room very efficiently. The noise from the fan was quiet. After about 4 weeks use, the heater did not function properly - not heating at all or failing to turn off when the room reached a consistent temperature or not turning back on when the room cooled. The fan also became louder. The heater was not used on a daily basis which was a factor in purchasing this item as I did not want to spend alot of money on something that would not be used often. It is possible that this particular heater was a "lemon", but I would not purchase another one and price will not be a factor in my selection of a new heater.

I work in a guard shack that is about 10x25. The door is constantly opening letting in cold air. It has been 10 degrees to below 0 outside and this heater has heated up our shack (and our feet) a great deal. There is hardly any noise. I would definately recommend!

I purchased this heater after reading a CR review of heaters. I have been using it for several weeks now and I am pleased with the performance. While it does not heat the bathroom up as quickly as the previous heater it is probably much safer. It does the job well in a 320 square foot bathroom and cost just pennies to operate for the short time we use it each day. It has a thermostat which works well, and has two power settings which is nice. Overall a good heater at a good price.

I bought this product about a year ago. I have a room in my home that is about 600 sq ft, VERY big room! This thng heats my room so good, I need to turn it down half way thru the night, and it gets to be in the -teens here. I deffinately say, buy this product!!!!!
