Wow, this product exceeded my expectations! It is "whisper" quiet! I have never had an air purifier that was so quiet. It is a bit larger than my previous ones, but the design and color is very complimentary to the house. What I didn't catch was that is it an oscillating unit, meaning that you can turn the unit on to slowly rotate back and forth. I do believe that this feature really helps to clean the air more quickly. Usually with air purifiers, the instructions state that you won't notice a difference for 24 hours. But with this unit, we noticed a change in the air within a few hours. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. In fact, I may order another one for the basement. I absolutely LOVE the fact that this air purifier comes with washable filters!!!

I was sold on the first day. Went back and bought another for a birthday gift. It is exactly as described, quiet, cleans and circulates the air. The fan has three selectable speeds and is barely audible. Having permanent, cleanable filters is a plus.

This unit did a wonderful job of cleaning the air but the ionizing process of the units operation produced a crackling noise like a static electricity discharge every few seconds, quite loud and quite annoying! This function is always on and can't be turned off when using the unit. I unplugged the unit and took the filters out and replaced them thinking that would solve the problem IT DID NOT ! I purchased a unit that does not use ionization processes to clean the air, just filtration. That's the beauty of Walmart.com so many great choices!

This purifier puts to shame one I had previously...the air quality difference is simply amazing..my space is closer to 400 sq ft and this unit handles it quite well... the only problem I have had is checking to make sure it is running as it is extremely quiet.For the 1st week when I passed by I either put my hand in air flow or or looked for lights.
