Honeywell Quietset 16" Whole Room Stand 5-Speed Fan, Model #HS-1655, Black with Remote

We purchased the fan for a guest, who has a issue sleeping without a fan, to use in our extra bedroom. The fan was quiet as advertised and the remote was great for controlling speeds from the bed. Our only concern would be for the height adjustment to allow for higher fan distance from the floor. Maybe a little pricy, but you get what you pay for.

I ordered this on the internet and I received it as promised. It was well packaged but easy to open. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and I had it operation in no time! I like the remote control functions and the fan is very quiet even on the highest speed. This fan is a real bargain!

Quiet was my most important requirement. On sleep mode I can barely hear it and the other four speeds are relatively quiet, too. The carrying handle on the top is handy. The extension stand has a knob to lock the height, so it can be picked up by the stand, too. The controls are easy to understand. I am very happy with it.

I liked the metal clips that hold the grill cover on. I like the base of this fan. I liked how lightweight the overall weight is of the fan. I could not stand the "bright" light,especially when I was trying to sleep. It bothered me a lot but I like my room dark especially when I sleep. The fan wasn't as quiet and soothing as the Hawaiian Breeze 16" DC Stand Fan. Also, the fan output on the highest setting isn't all that strong especially if you want a good breeze with these high humidity hot days. Needless to say, I returned this fan.
