Horizon Group Just My Style Friendship Bracelet Design Kit, 1 Each

I ACTUALLY USED MY 8 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER TO TRY OUT THIS BRACELET DESIGN KIT. SHE LOVED IT. A KNOWLEDGE OF BRAIDING AND MACRAME HELPS BUT EVEN A NOVICE CAN LEARN TO BRAID. IN OPENING THE BOX I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS ONE AS ALL THE BEADS AND CORDING WERE IN TIGHTLY SEALED INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY EASY TO FOLLOW, BUT AS WITH MOST INSTRUCTION SHEETS THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT IN DETAIL OR COMPLETE AND THE PHOTOS WERE TOO FEW TO BE HELPFUL. FOR INSTANCE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL TO HAVE A DETAILED EXPLANATION ON HOW TO TIE OF THE ENDS OF THE BRACELET NEATLY AND PHOTOS WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL. THIS ONE SHEET INSTRUCTION SHEET I'M SURE IS TO SAVE MONEY BUT DOES NOT HELP THE NOVICE. ALSO, THE INSTRUCTIONS DIDN'T TELL YOU HOW TO ADD THE BEADS INTO THE DESIGN. BECAUSE MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND I BOTH BEAD, WE FIGURED THIS OUT. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD KIT AND WE BOTH WERE QUITE HAPPY WITH IT. I RECOMMEND THIS FRIENDSHIP BRACELET DESIGN KIT HIGHLY FOR YOURSELF OR AS A GIFT. ANOTHER THING....NICE COLORS OF CORDING. A FEW BEADS BUT THEY ARE NICELY MADE AND COLORFUL.

The Just My Style Friendship Bracelet Design Kit by Horizon Group USA comes with 2 bags of colorful embroidery thread, 3 mini bags of beads (one bag of beads are beads with letters on them), an easy-to-use suction tool, and a fully illustrated instruction booklet. Overall, I think this friendship kit is pretty decent. The colorful embroidery thread comes with quite pretty colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue purple, pink, light pink, white, & black) Although the shade of colors are not exactly what I wanted (since I prefer darker richer shades of colors; these were more on the neon/bright side), the colors are still decent. I also really liked how the friendship kit came with a fully illustrated instruction booklet to teach me how to make the friendship bracelets; I thought this booklet was really useful, especially since it came with illustrations to really show me how to make the bracelets. However, the main reason I got this kit was because of the suction tool it came with...And in all honesty, I was quite dissatisfied with the suction tool. I wished the bottom of the suction tool provided teethmarks/slits so that we could put the hanging embroidery thread there to keep it in place. The only thing I liked about the suction tool was the ruler it provided so I could measure the length of my bracelet and the hook on the top (but even that did not really help to keep my bracelet in place). Overall, I still recommend the friendship kit.
