The chicken is a chunk and has the texture of chicken, not like it's chicken "parts" pressed into a patty. Dressing is tasty, too. No refrigeration needed, and why they only take a minute in the microwave to prepare. Always buy these, but mostly when they go on sale, to stock my panty with quick tasty meals.

The Hormel Compleats Homestyle Chicken Breast & Dressing meal is one of the best quick meals I have had in awhile. The chicken and the dressing were both really good. It has a great amount of protein in here as well so definitely an easy product to incorporate into your diet. Disclosure: I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This one tasted good, but the dressing is not what you'd expect, at least not what I expected. I received one of these as part of a sampling box and the chicken breast was good, tender and easy to cut with the side of my fork. The dressing was decent, but it doesn't taste like the homemade recipes I am used to. I think it was the gravy. If there was a tad less, a better balance of gravy to the dressing, it might make a difference. The gravy prevents it from looking like the photo on the wrapper. I did enjoy it and it made a nice filling lunch. I would not have a problem buying this one again.

Although we generally love the Hormel Compleats products, this was not a favorite. They felt the flavor was very bland and the dressing was too soggy. The quality of the chicken was good and comparable to the other products, but we probably won't be buying this particular one again.

These are really convenient to eat for a quick meal. Cooks in 60 seconds, which to me is extremely fast. It was cooked thoroughly and ready to eat soon after cooling. The chicken was moist and the dressing was the perfect texture. The stuffing with the celery was amazing, even still had the crunch to the celery. Reminded me of a quick thanksgiving Turkey meal!
