Hot Wheels Monster Jam Dragon Vehicle

My little boy loved this toy, which kinda surprised me. It doesn't have any flashing lights, fun sounds or fancy special effects; what it does have is good old fashioned play value. He had to use his imagination to play with this toy and he loved it so much, he only wanted to play with it for over a week. He still talks about how much fun we had playing with this toy! My 3.5 year old son is obsessed with Monster Tricks and this toy doesn't disappoint. It's much larger than his other monster truck toys and is made better. My son had a blast with this one! It's made extremely well, and very durable. The metal frame it nice as it makes me feel like the truck will actually last! He's able to play both inside and outside with it as the wheels are large and have grip. The overall design is quite cute, I love how they worked the dragon into it! This is a great toy. It's very well made and will provide lots of fun. My 5 year old really likes how it appears to bounce while it rolls. He likes that he can send it on a collision course and it flips over. He wanted it to be able to accelerate speed or go by itself, but all in all he's had lots of fun playing with it already. So upon receiving the Monster Jam truck I was thinking it's not much. At first glance it doesn't seem any different than any other toy truck, until you take it out and play with it! Let's start with appearance, it's high quality! There are no cheap stickers, there's nothing more annoying than a toy with stickers for decals! They peel off and ruin quickly. On this truck everything is printed on to the body! The textures and detail in the body is fantastic and quality looking. The underside of the truck is made of plastic which I was afraid would snap off easily with rough play, but it didn't. My son dropped it and threw it and everything is still intact! The wheels are the real difference in this toy! Unlike normal toy trucks the wheels pivot to adjust for rough ground! Most trucks if pushed on rough or bumpy ground would flip over or not move due to their stationary axels. With the pivoting the truck is able to better manage various terrains. The tires are also made of a tough non- inflated rubber. This, plus the tread of the tires, helps the toy have better grip on the rough roads. There are no noises or lights, as a parent I'm thankful for! No noises makes for better imaginary play! All in all this truck is absolutely amazing! It's a toy that can be played with indoor and out, doesn't need batteries, and doesn't need parental assistance! It's tough and can withstand rough play.
