Clips onto the board easily. Holds the cord well
These were just what I was looking for. However, one was defective and the other one had to be modified. But my husband got it to work.
This Cord Minder was exactly what we wanted. The only thing is, once you set it to the upright position, it could not be adjusted flat with the board. Which meant you would have to remove it from the ironing board when ever you wanted to store the board away. Or else the cord minder is sticking out from the board when you hang it up. The problem was that it was impossible to press the release far enough to clear the metal tab on the frame of the unit. I even tried holding the unit in a vice and could get it to clear. I quit as I was afraid the plastic might break. So I returned it!
Keeps the cord from dragging across the item I am ironing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My mother had one when I was a kid. It does a good job keeping the cord out of the way while ironing.
