Comes out ready to go. Just charge for 5 hours. At first I was disappointed it only doing 13 mph. I trouble shooted online and saw maybe the tires were low. After pumping them up more still only 13.. time to read the Manuel troubleshooting .. or directions I guess. Turns out there is high and low speeds and I had it in low. High speed hit 25 mph! Shot said 16mph . They lied and I am not disappointed . Just bought two more for Xmas presents

I have had this for 3 months now, I am 180, 6 ft tall, and have no problems with speed ( 12-13 high, 8-9 low) or grades. I like the low speed setting for sidewalks, can follow people walking easy. The light weight makes it easy to transport. It has very good range, most of what I do is within a few miles, never seen the battery go below 1/2 yet, it does take awhile to charge,. 3 times the throttle stopped working. I simply turned it off, waiting a couple mins, and it worked fine, in those cases I had driven it quite a bit. Also, I had a rear flat tire already, and was able to drive it with the tire flat while riding it. The cruise control works, but because you have to throttle twice you loose a MPH or 2 when setting it.

I bought this scooter on Black Friday for my sons 12th birthday in April. It worked awesome - BUT only for 30 days! The scooter has an E2 error message that has to do with the accelerator. We are now at the mercy of the manufacturer and buying a replacement part since Walmart no longer gives me the option to return or exchange. At $269 I expected better from both the brand and Walmart. Extremely frustrated. My son was so excited over this gift and now after 30 days it is sitting in the garage needing to be fixed.

This scooter is so cool. It is very heavy duty and strong. The shock observer on the back really helps stabilize you on bumps and turns. I love how it handles while you are riding on it. The handle bars are very comfortable and the break works perfectly. No squeaking and stops very nice. The color teal is pretty and I feel it could be for a male or female. I feel this scooter is way worth the money.

The electric Hover-1 electric scooter is a well made machine. It claims to be rated for up to 264 pounds and I believe it! It is easy enough to ride for a 50 something lady to ride it. If you can ride a bike, you can probably ride this! The low and high speed is great! Low speed is up to 9 miles an hour and the high speed is up to 16 miles an hour. For a lighter weight person, I'm pretty sure you could get the full 16 miles an hour. I was only able to get 14 miles per hour. The battery life is great. I think it states it will get up to 15 miles per charge.
