This unit would not consistantly print. When it did, 25% of the time it would jam or miss feed. Tech support tried to help us for months with the issues, changing paper types, print cartiges, plugging it in elsewhere, new drivers, etc... By the time they said it was an obvious hardware issue we were out of the warrenty period and they said I could buy a new one at a discounted rate. But that was my only option... Support stated they could not fix it without a fee, even though they acknowleged it never worked right in the first place.

I love this printer! The print quality is excellent. It is very Fast. Print cost per page is low. And all for a great price. Just what I was looking for. On the negative side, ink cartriges are not carried by all retailers and can be harder to find but if you order on line like I do this is not a problem.

This printer is quite fast, but due to the use of color ink, even on black only draft to, as one of the tech support personnel stated, make the "black more vibrant", makes it necessary to buy additional color cartridges earlier than anticipated. This is most especially true for yellow. Not only that, I could not find this stated anywhere in the documentation on the web or in the manual that came with the printer, a major oversight in my opinion and one that was verified by a support technician. Also, while the duplex unit works fine with MS software, it has trouble with Sage MAS90 in that every single page needs to be turned over to be in the proper order. Even setting the default to correct this does not help, as the normal non-duplexed print jobs then come out backward. That said, the printer does perform the rest of its functions in an efficient quality manner.

I'm disappointed - this printer gets lots of paperjams when using the duplexer, and just stops printing for no reason, and is unrealiable for printing 2 sided flyers in any quan. over 20. I've spent far to much time trying to "troubleshoot" - more than it's worth. On the positive side it's very fast and is more ink efficent than other printers i've had.

I am very impressed with this printer. I now hardly ever use the color laser printer. The double sided printing saves paper and space in the files. Networking is easy and the printer is used by multiple computers. Quality is great. Having two paper trays is also a nice feature. The support software allows you to monitor ink levels. For the price, you won't find a better printer.
