This thing doesn't have a heat stabilizer so as soon as you pick it up to use it, the heat drops. I need it to be at least 440 degrees to flatten my hair and I would only get a glide or two out of it before the temperature would start dropping significantly so I had to keep setting it down for it to heat back up to use it again. Other than that I had no complaints but I didn't have time to wait for this to heat back up every time I flat ironed a strand or two so I returned it.

I’ve been natural going on 3 years. I have thick course hair. I needed a good flatiron that was not only going to straighten my hair, but leave it silky smooth and shiny as well. The digital control on it is something that I absolutely love my new flatirons. Love how I can turn the heat up to the setting that’s good for my hair texture. This flatiron totally gets the job done.

After reviewing several brands of flat irons, I decided on the HSI Professional Glider + and I am so glad I did!! This flat iron exceeded my expectations. It heats to the designated temperature in seconds. Your hair glides wonderfully between the plates with no snagging. I love the location of the controls. My old flat iron had the controls on the outside of the handle, so was always accidentally changing the heat temperature. It has an auto shut off which is great if you're always in a hurry as I am. I absolutely love this flat iron!! It is absolutely the best flat iron I have owned.

I am all natural and have been since 2015. I do not go to salon's because I am afraid of heat damage. I just recently flat ironed my natural hair after purchasing this flat iron. I did my research on line and this seemed like the best one for me. I flat ironed my hair at 350 Degrees and my hair is fluffy and straight. What I liked about it is that I was able to control the heat setting to my liking and it glided right through my hair. I have been raving about my new flat iron to everyone who compliments my hair and it was perfect for my price range considering I only straighten my hair once or twice a year. Another plus is that this flat iron came with a silk bag to keep the styling tool protected, as well as a glove to protect the hand. I also liked the serum they put in the box! It smells amazing and it moisturized my hair after straightening it with a great shine. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs something that will protect their hair while providing them with versatility!
