Like everyone here I had issues with it within a couple of weeks. Within a couple of weeks I had to replace the seat and the peddles. The pedal split for no reason at all. Also the grips keep falling fall off. Now that I have replaced the seat and the pedals the chain and gears are making a terrible noise and the silver on the wheel is chipping off. All I can say is at least the chain has not fallen off nor has the frame broken in half while riding so it gets two stars instead of 1.

I am new to biking. If I could turn back the clocks I wouldn't buy this bike. I don't like that you have to turn the knobs with your wrists to switch gears. If you are changing gears a lot it starts to bother your wrists. I am just under 5'4 and this bike is a little too tall for me. I have lowered the seat down as far as it goes, so if you are shorter than me good luck. Also, the gears on this bike shift poorly. Sometimes you have to go back and forth for the gear to actually switch over. Not only that, but it is hard to get up on a bike rack. There is so much junk under the bars it's hard to maneuver it on. This could be because it's a woman's bike, but I doubt it. I didn't assemble the bike myself; I just had it shipped to the store and they put it together for me. Oh, and I almost forgot. If you do buy this bike invest in a better seat. I literally had bruises on my butt after I road it the first time.

It's a good beginner bike. I use it for light trail riding and commute, and it has held up well. The stock seat is uncomfortable but that is easily replaced. I have had a slight issue with some of the gears not changing, but it is my understanding that unless you pay several thousand dollars for your bike that is always going to be an issue. For the price, this is a great bike.

I like the bike, and so does the wife ( it was her bday present). I chose to assemble it myself so that I could teach my son how to assemble the bike. When I put it together, I realized the hand brakes and handle bar ( both preassembled by the manufacturer were both assembled incorrectly. Other than that the bike is well worth what I paid for it.

This bike is a cheep bike. This example really proves it matters who puts the bike together. It shifted poorly. With in a week the petal fell off. The handle grips were coming off every time I griped them. The seat is hard so when I bought it I right off bought the bell memory cushion seat. I had to take the first one back. The second one was put together better. It shifts well the grips were staying on and it seemed I had gotten a good bike. But after a couple of weeks my plastic petal broke. So I purchased some new petals cause the bike seemed okay. Then my Left petal started to fall off again. Now if I go on a bike ride I carry a wrench with me to tighten it back up when it falls off. I am going to get to the bottom of this or find out if I can still use my money back guarantee. But all in all Walmart was really good about the exchange. I bought another junky bike at Meijer and they did not want to exchange it even though it was within their policy of 90 days.
