Ichthammol Drawing Salve 14 oz.

I was wrong turned out, ichthammol has another name for same item. shame was on me. it's what I ordered just a different looking container.

I ordered this and was sent a different product with a different label from the one shown. As it turns out the ingredient ichthammol 20% reads the chemical name - (which I didn't know) Ammonium bituminosulfonate 20% And the label has Amber Petrolatum and Anhydrous Lanolin. I wish they would show the Ingredients LABEL for viewing BEFORE ordering. The main reason for the 2 stars is that it has NO SMELL. It has been my experience that all Ichthammol 20% drawing salve that I have ever used (I am over half a century old) has a strong odor. So I have no idea what this is in comparison nor why it doesn't have the smell. So I am returning it mainly because it doesn't smell and I have no knowledge of amber petrolatum or hydrous lanolin. Tip: buy one that displays the list of ingredients before purchasing

This stuff works!!! It draws out infection like it says and it smells bad but does wonders. If your horse or you have any type of skin infections this stuff draws our the bad stuff and should be changed twice a day. Works awsome
