Icy Hot Extra Strength Pain Relieving 3.5Oz (Pack Of 6)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have chronic back pain, and am constantly using heating pads and ice packs, but of course these unwieldy items prevent me from getting up and moving around. Naturally, as Icy Hot has been around forever I've known OF it, but due to jokes about this product being solely for use by the elderly (entirely unjustified!) I never considered trying it. Thanks to Home Tester Club I have become enlightened and I wish to share my newfound wisdom! Icy Hot is essentially a heating pad + an ice pack in one. No more dripping bags of peas defrosting in my bed - no more burns from lying on a heating pad for hours - freedom from the chains of my bed or couch! I am able to rub this magical potion in and feel the tingling and warming sensation of my pain melting away and continue about my day. The only issue I have with this is that it gets on clothing, so I like to cover the product with gauze or wear an old t-shirt when I am using it so as to prevent leaving greasy spots wherever I touch.

It goes on smoothly and easily and I let it work it's massage to soothe my aches. I try not to get it on my clothes, but it washes out if I do. A+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not as strong acting as the original Icy Hot. Felt greasy on my skin. Did not seem to help relieve the pain like the original formula. Needs to have stronger pain relief as it did when I first started using it years ago.

Whether it's my physically demanding job, my wife's household or garden work, or my tween's sports or just playing around hard, this is an all around good balm for the whole family. The scent is very pleasant and not overwhelming at all. It's a medicine cabinet must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression upon opening the product jar showed a firm balm that definitely goes a long, long way without leaving a greasy, smelly mess. It has a wonderfully soothing warmth to its application and not the usual objectional smell that can be a product turn off.
