Infantino - Baby Girl Animals Twist & F

I received this play mat as a hand-me-down from a friend and we have used it almost every single day for my baby's first five months (full disclosure, we have the old "vintage boy" pattern -- see photo -- but the design is the same). My baby LOVES it! Really, I'm shocked at how his face lights up after a week of vacation when he sees this play mat again. At first he just looked at the critters, but now he grabs them and rolls from side to side hanging onto them. Each critter has different sensory activities. My little one loves the rings. There is space to clip on extra toys. We also used as a soft surface for tummy time at first and the little pillow was a helpful prop. He is just now starting to get a too big for it at 5 months; however, I'm worried he's going to be so sad if we put it away! Would have paid a lot of money for a toy that makes my kid this happy! So simple, yet effective. Lightweight and easy to travel with. mGreat for a small apartment. Also, very easy to wipe clean or wash, and doesn't attract pet hair (two huge pluses).

I received this item as a baby gift and the connectors were not able to snap together. I sent a total of 3 emails with proof of defect and just like that they sent me a replacement in the mail. Kudos to a great company with great customer service.

I spent time reading a lot of reviews before I purchased a baby gym. This one consistently came out on top on many websites. I was so pleased I bought it as it is so vibrant. I later bought a different gym for variety, and my baby was not interested at all. All the animals featured are unique and they detach easily for up close play.

I have received the Pond Pals Twist & Fold Activity Gym & Play Mat from Infantino to facilitate my review. I had another play mat for my older daughter and this one was WAY easier to set up. I like how easily it folds up if I want to put it away quickly or store it. I'm not sure if it was a defect in mine but the only complaint I had was the mirror wasn't actually a mirror. You cannot see yourself in it, which my son LOVES looking at himself.
